Gladbeck City Hall

Gladbeck City Hall is the first project of its kind in Northrhine-Westphalia to be implemented as a public-private partnership (PPP).

In September 2004, HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions GmbH was awarded the PPP contract for the construction of the new five-story city hall in Gladbeck. The company is responsible for planning, financing, constructing and then operating the building.

All construction measures were placed in the hands of HOCHTIEF Construction AG. In October 2006, the key of the building was ceremonially handed over and the new City Hall was officially opened.

HOCHTIEF Facility Management will operate the building for the next 25 years.
